The Chapmans Peak Hotel is situated at the foot of the world famous Chapmans Peak Drive, only 20km from Cape Town. The restaurant was established in 1981 by Carlos Nobrega snr, the ‘godfather’ of this establishment. The restaurant is a local institution, renowned worldwide for the best Calamari in Cape Town, with a popular sun-drenched terrace, with spectacular views of the beach. Seafood is a specialty, with delicious piri-piri prawns, but grilled steaks and succulent salads are also on offer. The Portuguese Steak, a signature dish, along with Calamari remain the most popular dishes on the menu. Fabulous in summer and just as good in winter, there’s no better place for a decandent seafood platter! A great wine list too, catering for all tastes. Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, from 12h00 to 21h00.
